Financial stability meeting

Meeting of Central Bank Governors and 
Heads of Financial Supervision Authorities from Central Europe

Today, Banka Slovenije hosted the annual meeting of central bank governors and heads of financial supervision authorities from the following Central European countries: Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia.

Central bank governors and high representatives of financial supervision authorities discussed the economic and financial situation in their respective countries focusing in particular on the situation in the banking sector. They also discussed the liquidity risk measurement and challenges of the new Basel III banking regulation.
