Global Money Week at Banka Slovenije

On 18 March 2024 Banka Slovenije opened Global Money Week with a seminar for educators, attended by representatives from various institutions. Throughout the week, different activities were held at the Banka Slovenije Museum, on social media and remotely for primary and secondary schools and other interested parties. As part of this special week, kindergartens and primary schools are also invited to participate in an art competition.

On Monday 18 March 2024, a seminar for educators took place at Banka Slovenije and the Banka Slovenije Museum, with presentations by representatives of the Institute of Education, the Ministry of Education, Banka Slovenije and the Bank Association of Slovenia. After the presentations, the participants visited the museum. Several accompanying events were organised during the week, including guided tours and a virtual game called "Atlas's Secret" at the museum on Tuesday 19 and Thursday 21 March 2024. A remote banking block lesson for secondary school students took place on Friday 22 March 2024.

Until Sunday 24 March 2024, when Global Money Week officially ends, everyone interested can also take part in a prize quiz we have launched on social media. Until the end of April 2024, kindergartens and primary schools have a chance to enter the traditional art competition, this time the theme is "Quarter of a Century of the Euro", to create greeting cards celebrating the 25th anniversary of the European currency.
