Proof quality commemorative coins and euro coin sets for 2023 to go on sale on 27 February
Banka Slovenije’s final numismatic products for 2023, namely commemorative coins marking the 150th anniversary of the birth of Josip Plemelj and the set of euro coins minted in 2023, will be released for sale and circulation on 27 February in proof quality. The online orders have been reserved, and will be available for pickup at selected collection points until 11 March.
The commemorative coins will also be freely available for purchase from 27 February, while between 27 February and 11 March the euro coin sets will only be available to those who have made online reservations (the entire available stock was reserved). Any reserved items not picked up during the collection period will be made freely available for sale. In the first seven days following the 14-day collection period (up to 18 March inclusive), purchases will be limited to one item per buyer. Items freely available for sale will be sold on a first come, first served basis.
As usual, the products will be on sale at the Banka Slovenije counters, at selected branches of Deželna banka Slovenije, and at Moro & Kunst. The prices of numismatic products can be found on the following link, while enquiries about the stocks freely available for sale should be directed to the point of sale. The release of these coins was announced in December of last year.
