Press release - The IMF mission concluding statement
The regular Mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) visited Slovenia from 17 to 28 October 2013. In accordance with Article IV of the IMF Statute, the IMF usually holds consultations with its members once a year. The purpose of these consultations is to review current economic developments and challenges for the future. The Mission, headed for the last time by Antonio Spilimbergo, met with representatives of the Bank of Slovenia, the Slovenian government, the National Assembly, the banking sector and trade unions. The visit was wrapped up with a presentation of the concluding statement drafted in accordance with Article IV of the IMF Statute.
