Governor attends Globsec Tatra Summit
Governor Boštjan Vasle is attending a conference entitled Upward trail: Forging economic growth, which is being held in the High Tatras in Slovakia over the next few days, hosted by Globsec.
The Governor is taking part in a panel entitled Navigating the shifting tides: Monetary policy meets fragmenting world, where together with fellow central bank governors from Croatia, the Netherlands and Slovakia he is discussing their experiences with unconventional monetary policy instruments, central bank measures to lower inflation, and the potential of individual instruments in taking the next steps in monetary policy. They will also highlight the longer-term impact on price stability and the effectiveness of monetary policy tools from geopolitical tensions and fragmentation, and the challenges brought in this area by climate change and digitalisation.
