Spring Meetings of the IMF and the World Bank Group

Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group (WB) is taken place in Washington, D.C. until 16 April.

Governor Vasle will attend the meeting of the International Monetary and Financial Committee (IMFC), which meets twice a year during every Spring Meetings and autumn Annual Meetings of the IMF and the World Bank. The IMFC will discuss current developments in global economy and international financial markets, in light of the impact of Russia's aggression against Ukraine and the recent turmoil in the banking sector, macroeconomic outlook and possible policy responses. Governor Vasle and other Slovenian delegates with also attend a number of bilateral meetings with representatives of the IMF.
