Bank of Slovenia withdraws request for assessment of constitutionality of Bank of Slovenia Act
The Bank of Slovenia has withdrawn its request for the assessment of the constitutionality of the Bank of Slovenia Act with regard to the powers of the Court of Audit of the Republic of Slovenia. We examined all the arguments and the arrangements in certain other countries where the court of audit has the power to audit the banking supervisor, and took account of the principles regarding the auditing of the Bank of Slovenia’s current supervisory activities within the framework of the EU’s Single Supervisory Mechanism. On the basis of this assessment, we decided to withdraw the request for the assessment of constitutionality.
