Press release from the meeting of the Governing Board of the Bank of Slovenia of 21 April 2009

1. At today's meeting the Governing Board of the Bank of Slovenia adopted a regulation on the issue of collector coins for sale and circulation to mark the centenary of the first flight by a powered aircraft over Slovenia. Gold coins with a nominal value of EUR 100, silver coins with a nominal value of EUR 30 and bimetallic coins with a nominal value of EUR 3 will be available for sale as of 1 June 2009. 

2. The Governing Board of the Bank of Slovenia was briefed on the European Council regulation on the participation of EU Member States in the provision of additional funds to the IMF and Slovenia's expected contribution. Further activities by the Bank of Slovenia will be carried out on the basis of previous agreements with the Ministry of Finance.
